The luxurious Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa can be found amongst the stunning Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, which is only a two-and-a-half-hour drive from beautiful Sydney. This gorgeous resort was constructed around a completely restored homestead and the staff takes pride in the fact that they are leaders in the industry when it comes to conservation and environmental responsibility.
There are 40 suites and each one has a private terrace and swimming pool. Guests will love how their private spaces blend seamlessly into the beauty of the Australian bush, as well as how they will never be interrupted at the wrong moment.
Those guests who are looking for a little relaxation and pampering will want to venture over to the Spa at Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley. There are numerous treatments and services available in any of the six tranquil rooms.
The restaurant and bar are located over at the homestead and they are both perfect spots to spend some time after a day of exploring. Guests will love the fires that are lit in both spaces during the winter months and how the atmosphere invites them to simply sit and relax at any time of the year.

Highlights & Reviews
- Just over a two-and-a-half hour drive from Sydney, the hotel, which is a 2,800-hectare wildlife reserve, is nestled between two of Australia’s most prominent national parks, the Wollemi National Park and the Gardens of Stone National Park, in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. Be prepared to see herds of kangaroos as you approach.
- The hotel is built on a site that was a homestead founded in 1832; the original farm buildings have been preserved, and now they house an on-site museum. The hotel’s main homestead - where the restaurant, bar and lounge are situated - has roaring fires in winter (June to August); huge armchairs that you can sink into with a gin and tonic; and a feeling of modern country club grandeur.
- The 40 individual suites have lounges (with comfy sofas) and bedrooms (with large, luxurious beds) connected by double-fronted fireplaces; just what you want to snuggle up to after a day of cycling outside. Each suite also has a swimming pool in a conservatory, though the resulting look was at odds with the luxurious feel of the room.
