Hilton at Resorts World Bimini
Overview
The Hilton at Resorts World Bimini is a luxurious resort that offers every guest an extraordinary island escape, in the middle of paradise. There are 305 guest rooms and suites at this resort, and they all offer breathtaking views of the marina. Guests are invited to watch the sunrise from the middle of the Sapora Pool and then take time to watch the sun set later in the day from the infinity pool on the roof.
There are plenty of activities at this resort including water sports, snorkeling, parasailing, daily excursions, and glass-bottomed boat trips. Guests can even spend some time in the casino, as they try their luck at winning thousands of dollars.
The youngest guests will enjoy spending time at Kids’ Club before heading over to the waterpark or the sandy beaches. Adults can spend their free time in the fitness center or take the time to get pampered at the spa.
The sophisticated menu at the fine dining restaurant, Sabor Seafood & Steak House, ensures that every guest can find exactly what they are craving for a romantic meal. The other five bars and restaurants focus on Asian, Bahamian, Italian, and American cuisines.

Highlights & Reviews
- Location
- Bimini is the closest Bahamian island to the United States of America, just 50 miles (81 km) off the coast of South Florida. The nearest airport is on South Bimini. Guests are taxied over to North Bimini, where the hotel is located, by a hotel shuttle and ferry service. The Resort World Bimini property is a destination within itself. It encompasses almost half of the island, which is only seven miles (11 km) long. A hotel shuttle takes visitors into the residential community of Alice Town, the main local settlement, just two miles (3.7 km) away from the resort’s entrance.
- Rooms
- Guest rooms are modern and stylish with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light to flood in. The marble bathrooms have a looking window connecting the walk in shower to the bedroom. This can be a turn on for couples but inconvenient for business travellers. The rooms have televisions, work desks, mini refrigerators and coffeemakers. The bathrooms in the double rooms are spacious. The signature ground-floor suites have two bedrooms that are connected by a large living and dining room. The balconies open directly onto a lazy river, from which guests can float down the tidal pool to access other areas of the resort.
- Dining
- Sabor Seafood & Steak House is the resort’s signature restaurant for good reason; it has the most sophisticated menu and romantic waterfront setting. Seating is limited so reservations are recommended. I thoroughly enjoyed the spinach and mushroom stuffed veal chop, but also had my eye on the Champagne lobster risotto and the grilled swordfish. Breakfast is primarily served buffet style in the casino restaurant Hemingway’s or the newest lobby restaurant, The Tides. In total, there are six restaurants and bars on property serving Bahamian, Asian, American and Italian cuisine.
