Four Seasons Milano
Overview
The five-star Four Seasons Milano can be found in what used to be a 15th century convent within the heart of the city’s shopping district. There are 118 spacious guest rooms, as well as 51 beautiful suites at this luxurious hotel. Guests who stay in the guest rooms will find that they can look out towards neighboring gardens or Via Gesù. Those who stay in the suites will find that their rooms face the tranquil courtyard.
While many renovations have been completed in this fabulous hotel, guests will still see many features from the past. A few include the 15th century Renaissance frescoes and cloisters, an 18th century fireplace, and a neo-classical façade.
Guests can be seen gathering in the courtyard during the afternoon, as they enjoy an Aperitivo or drink, although the Il Foyer Bar is another option, especially if guests are looking for a few light snacks to go with their beverage. La Veranda Restaurant normally serves Italian cuisine, but on Sundays, a Mediterranean buffet brunch is available. Chocolate lovers will want to venture into the Chocolate Room and try to choose which one of the many chocolate desserts is the one that they want for the day.

Highlights & Reviews
- Rooms
- Renaissance Suite (suite #115) is a bright studio room with 17th century stuccoed ceiling and three large windows overlooking the Hotel's main courtyard. The predominantly white room has a king-size wooden canopy bed, a spacious lounge area with sofa seating, work-area with large wooden desk and walk-in closet. Uncluttered surfaces and Murano mirrors combine with exotic flowers and large plants to create an air of sophisticated minimalism. The marble bathroom is lit by daylight and includes a large vanity, European deep soaking tub, bidet, walk-in shower, heated marble floors and towel rack and steam-resistant mirrors.
- Location
- In the heart of Milan’s Quadrilatero district, home to the city’s most exclusive designer boutiques, the hotel has a discreet entrance on Via Gesù that opens up onto the bar and lounge.
- Style
- The hotel is housed in a beautiful 15th-century convent, with rooms set around a cloistered courtyard, wih geometric designs of boxwoods and laurels, in three interconnecting buildings. Original granite pillars and fragments of frescoes are visible; walls are embellished with 19th-century drawings.
- Dining
- The inner courtyard is a particularly appealing spot for an aperitivo or post-prandial drink. Il Foyer bar serves light snacks and beverages throughout the day, while cocktails are available in the evenings. Adjacent to the bar is the convent’s old sacristy, with vaulted ceilings, where a fireplace is lit in winter. La Veranda restaurant serves Italian cuisine; on Sundays a Mediterranean-style buffet brunch is available for €75 (£54), with a selection of desserts laid out in the Chocolate Room, which is coated entirely with chocolate. Cooking classes are organised. The hotel is pet-friendly; pooch packages include dog-sitting services and canine menus.
